GRP Mirzapur has caught two people with 29 lakh cash from platform number two of railway station Mirzapur on Thursday night. GRP informed the Income Tax Department for investigation after enquiry. Further action will be taken after investigation.
GRP station in-charge Anil Kumar Tripathi was patrolling on platform number two of the railway station at 10.30 pm. Only then two suspicious youths met at the railway station. They each had a bag.

Seeing the GRP, the young man wanted to leave. When the GRP team searched him on suspicion, Rs 29 lakh cash was recovered from the bag. The GRP interrogated both of them in custody, after which they informed the Income Tax team to investigate the money. GRP in-charge Anil Tripathi told that two youths have been caught with 29 lakh cash. Money has been recovered from the bag with both. During interrogation, it was told that both Rewa are residents of Madhya Pradesh. There he works in a jewelry shop. Was going to West Bengal to buy jewellery. The Income Tax Department has been informed. Who will check the cash money. Further action will be taken after investigation.
